About Castle Clear
Dr. Emily Frost-Garman (PhD)
Owner, Specialist Audiologist
I have spent my career working in a large London hospital, where upon starting as a graduate audiologist I have progressed to working as the Head of Service & Consultant Healthcare Scientist.
​
I have spent a number of years working with patients in the clinic and in their own homes, as well as training students at all levels. I am qualified and experienced in wax removal using a microscope and endoscope.
​
Alongside my clinical work, I completed a Masters of Research in 2015 and hold a PhD from Imperial College London. My research is focussed on dementia and hearing loss and I have developed an app for memory and hearing training, as well as having published a number of research papers.
​
I am a member of the British Academy of Audiology, an Associate of the National School of Healthcare Science and hold professional registration with the Academy of Healthcare Science.
I have a passion for providing high-quality, personal and accessible care. I am also DBS registered.

My name is Maya, and I'm Castle Clear's Chief Barketing Officer. I'm in charge of treats, naps, and cuddles. I don't go out with Emily on appointments , but if you see me out on a walk I would love to say hello.
